The G-Creator Project(now abbreviated as ‘GCP’) announced that the old G-Creator effort(known as Aurora) is dead. Instead, two new separated projects have been initiated: Pineapple and Dolphin. Pineapple is written from the ground up to be an advanced game editor. Dolphin is based on LGM and tries to be simpler.

There are no stable versions for neither Pineapple nor Dolphin.

The G-Creator project develops 100% free open source donationware cross-platform game creators. Pineapple is designed for power and Dolphin is designed for simplicity.

Software built with Pineapple can run on multiple platforms, including Microsoft Windows and Linux systems. Dolphin also aims to bring Pineapple to web browsers and mobile phones. Mac OS support may appear eventually but none of the developers has the tools to test it.

Pineapple and Dolphin believe in the power of module-based designs, which allow the creation of plugin to unleash even further power from both applications.
